If you are a natural who is loosing BF% and trying to make muscle gains (aka ''lean gains''), then you'll be in disappointment for an answer to your question that ''how much weight in muscle can you put on a week.''

You may gain a pound of muscle in a month IF you are young, have great genetics, great diet, intense training regimen and quality recovery, and that's becomes a big IF if you are passed 25 with one ore more of the agents above is absent from the equation.

If you are an average person, expect to add about 8-10 pounds per year

When i was in my 40's, it took me 4 years to go from 220 to 245+

...it is a very slow process

^^^ You should hit the nutrition section and post your diet in details.

I am positive you are either eating at maintenance or under at this point.

You'll consequentially either up your calories or do less cardio if you want to get bigger.

if you want to gain muscle. You MUST eat a lot of carbs.

Bulking IS losing fat, because with more muscles, you burn a lot more fat, passively.
Thought I admit, that eating enough is not so much of a problem right in the beginning.
Nowdays I feel it's like full time job to keep eating...

Drink a lot of water, eat protein+carbs 4-6 small meals a day, full rest at least 2 days a week and sleep well, and THEN you can gain some 10 pounds a year.
If you miss one of these elements, then you hardly gain anything after the first few months.
It's WAY harder than what they make it look in tv or commercials.
