avoid plateauing
from experience (working out naturally) I realized when you hit a plateau it takes a long time to get out of it. this time around (on my first cycle) I want to avoid hitting a plateau at all cost.
what is more effective? to alternate workouts every 2-4 weeks? or keep a steady workout plan and change the entire routine every 6-8 weeks?

I would change every couple of weeks. The body has amazing adaptive ability and on cycle it can adapt even quicker. It's also good psychologically to change up often. It keeps the mind fresh and coming up with new ideas and exercises.
