have you tryed high reps on the exercises you do?... i find sets of 25-30 and hitting them 2x per week keep mine growing...of course that meens doing less weight so as to get the reps in but its effective...

biggest factor for calves gonna be genetics, that don't mean u can't make them grow though

but if u want BIG calves u just gotta have the genes

Twice a week. I hit them w/high reps on leg day on sitting calf raise, then go heavy on another day using standing calf raises. 6-8 sets each exercise.

I have decent calves, at our gym we have 20 steps from the free weights to the hammer strength section. After squats I do bodyweight calf raises up them. Start with 1 rep on the first step and add one for every additional step. Winds up being 210 reps and absolutely sucks.

Rest pause sets, forced negatives concentrating on doing movements slow. I see way too many people doing fast reps. 4sec up hold at top for 1 sec and negative for 4 sec. Also lock out your knees, it's one of only 2 exercises I lock out, (the other is triceps) and concentrate on the weight being on the ball of your foot at the top of the movement.

Try running on the balls of your feet. Your calves will grow quite fast. when i was in the military we would run for about 8 miles and in order to break it up alittle during my run i would change the position of my feet when they land. you can run heel to toe but sometwhere in the middle of your run land on the balls of your feet and just before your heel hits the ground spring back up keep that going until your calves burns like hell and then go back to running heel to toe. then do it again

Try to do full reps whether high reps or heavy weight. Go to a full stretch at the bottom and squeeze the rep at the top. Don't get caught up in short range of motion reps.

do lots of calf raises, but also do a lot of squats and leg presses while really focusing on that calf

I have huge calves and never work them directly. Genetics. I'm sure you an improve them, but thats one bitch of a bodypart to grow if genetics are working against you.

I agree 100%. I do competitive triathalons and its called pose running, thats the only way to run if you wanna save your knees and its hell on the calves.
