Split question.
K so I have always done this split. Except for one day has changed recently. Which I don't know how big of a difference it would be. That's why I am here to get opinions. This schedule is based on work. Not much room to deviate from.
Monday night- legs
Tuesday morning - chest
Wednesday morning - back
Thursday off
Friday night - shoulders
Saturday - off
Sunday morning - arms ( bis and tris)
The Sunday used to be Saturday and was giving me a full two days before my chest days. Now only a day and a half really. Is this a problem. Not enough rest for my tris before chest?
And another question would be I'm doing currently 12-16 sets. Depends on the group. Too much? And would it be too much when I start a cycle?

The split looks good. 12-16 sets on larger muscle groups is fine and I'd lean towards 12 max on smaller muscle groups. Have you cycled before? What are your stats?

I think everything looks good. Once your cycle gets going you may wonna change your split to 4 day eg.
Mon back and bi
Tues chest and tri
Wed legs
Thurs off
Fri shoulders
Sat off
Sun repeat rotation
So that the frequency between hitting muscle groups is higher to maximize results and gains while on cycle. Also recovery will be much quicker while on cycle.

Another question bout my split so kept this thread open.
My arm day. Could I split it up. Tris one day and bis another. Would be at the gym 6 days a week I know. I wouldn't over load either one. 3-4 good excersises. Then I would jump on cardio.
Bad idea?
