Heavy leg days
Always been a fan of leg days, most of my buddies hate leg days though so I usually end up doing most of those solo LOL
My BIGGEST lift has been 1530LBS (leg press) then I was out of the gym for almost 4 months, that sucked. Back up to 1170LBS and loving it.
I hate when I see people using bad form, especially trainers, I've even had to stop someone a time or two just because they were going to hurt themselves with things like locking their knees at the top of the lift.
What kind of weight are some of you guys/gals pushing?

I'm 182 lbs 5'9 26yo and cranked 440lbs squats for 5 reps PB
Do you squat or leg press only?

I was squatting 405LBS yesterday, 3 sets of 10. Leg extensions 10 at 235LBS and single leg curls of 130LBS. 15 minutes of bike for cardio was all I could manage today LOL

Ya I'm 5'7" just shy of 210LBS now BF still to high LOL
I've got a goal set for myself of 2000LBS leg press by the end of November, just some places don't like it much when you put a bar loaded with plates on top of the sled LOL
Haven't found a gym with 100LBS plates around home here LOL
I usually do legs twice a week but half way through I'll have to switch and do arms or chest just to let the pump in my legs fade before hitting them hard again.

The BIG joke with my buddies used to be that I might not be able to pick up the girl, but I can pick up her car LOL

I remember when people told 1500 wasn't possible and I got to where I was warming up with 810 and work up to 2 sets of 8 at 1440LBS
And in 6 weeks I've gone from 900 to a set of 10 at 1260 followed by a not so pretty 2 at 1350LBS yesterday
The only crappy thing is I'm down to a 34 waist but I can't find jeans with enough room for my legs in that size LOL they're all to tight around my quads LOL

Wow... just looked it up on youtube. I guess I never really pay attention to leg press. I'm currently squatting 315x10 and then 365x8-10 for 3 sets.

Well the gyms that I go to (it's a Canada wide chain) at one end of town the sled will hold 28 plates and the other end of town their sleds hold 32, now once you max that out you can carefully stack a couple plates on top or grab a bar set it on top and load that. Or you could just get someone to ride the sled LOL
No one has ever complained to me about using that many plates before, but I tell you it's a great feeling when they stop and watch.

I don't really push a great amount of weight these days on legs due to a back injury, I do a alot of pre exhaust work for my quads which really keeps the size and condition to them. I always squat but nothing to the extremes. We do have a squat machine at our gym which I use facing the other way around which takes all ther strain off my lower back, I have been none to rack a few plates that whic h turns heads

Leg press is not my favorite but i know alot of people can push some weight on it. I do a lot of high reps low weight when it comes to leg press, to much weight irratates my old surgery area then it aches for two days after so i keep it light.
