    workout plan for cutting

    i need to lose 20 lbs in 16 weeks as i am going cancun in march.
    im 6 foot 1
    205lbs
    about 18% - 20%
    i have just started eating 2400 cals a day with a 40/30/30 split.

    mon - 1.5 hours cardio am, chest and tri's pm
    tue - 1.5 hours cardio am ,legs and traps pm
    wed - abs and obliques
    thurs - 1.5 hours cardio am back and bi's
    fri - 1.5 hours cardio shoulders
    sat - 1.5 hours
    sun - rest

    my question is will i burn enough fat at that amount ?

    To keep it simple I prefer the Bizzy Diet.... It gets you fired up all at once with three optional days of rest which you can do cardio

    1.5 hrs cardio is too much in one sitting.

    30% fat is too high a %.

    45-60 mins fasted cardio and your normal muscle building lifting regime will suffice for workouts.

    Post your diet in the nutrition section for us to have a look at.

    cardio on an empty stomach no .... you lose too much muscle above six do not use anything.

    Cardio will not burn any muscle if kept at a moderate intensity. Fasted cardio is great for burning fat as your body is already in a fasted state due to the long period without food and relaxed period of sleep.

    Did you not mention you did cardio after your workout??
