It's up to your body when you need to Deload. If you hit a plateau or are coming off a cycle, deloading for a week is a good idea. It gives your body a little break and time to repair itself

Yeah I'm coming off a blast, calorie deficit, and have been doing an intense DTP program. I'm worn out but I was thinking that I was just being a p@ssy and need to man up and hit it hard. I think next week will be a step back in intensity and add a few more calories.

    Thanks for the info guys.

And you'll probably be ready for it too TR. Deloads prevent injury and rejuvenate the CNS.

I hear you man. If did your 3:1 I would have 4 workouts for each bodypart that I would rotate through. One super heavy, one heavy, and 2 medium heavy. Sorry I never really have a light day. This will give you some recovery time without a full deload. Plus some options if you just are having a good day or a so-so day. I've learned to go by feel more now rather than a definite routine I drew up on paper.
