    Leg development

    What is the best exercise(s) to work my inner quad just above my knee? My outer quad is starting to get to far ahead of my inner

    have u tried wide stance squats or leg presses

    I thought the more narrow the stance the more it worked inner quads?

    Funnily enough a wide stance squat helped my vastus medialis but no more or less than a close leg press with feet placed fairly low on the platform.

    I could be wrong but im pretty sure wide is inner....like when u do calf raises I feel it more in the inside when my feet are further apart

    wider= inner
    closer top and outter
    (for me anyway)

    just try it, youll feel it

    as for inner towards knee, the wide leg press try a high foot placement, see what you can feel. I always notice if i think if the part im trying to hit in my head i get a better outcome, kinda mentally forcing pressure to that area

    also when you do leg extentions, at the top of the extent i point toes in to hit outter quad, point them out for inner... just try it sitting in your chair...

    The way I find out what part any exercise works, I just do a shit load of reps say 50. the next day I will know.

    Do a very high rep day with one of the above styles. You'll then see how it effects you in particular.

    Yes, the lower your feet are on the leg press platform the more quad recruitment (higher = hams).

    I think you would feel it more in your quads with a low foot placement...good advice on the leg extensions!

    x5 did em yesterday and really felt them on the inner quad....then I REALLY felt it that night when I was goin to sleep as both of my legs cramped/locked up at the same time for literally 4 mins....had to get my gf to massage em....very painful
