I do the bicycles and that works the entire area (obliques, lower abs, upper abs) I also use the roman chair with a 45lb plate across my chest to build them up (I'm a powerlifter, not a bodybuilder so that might not be the best if your trying to keep a trim waist)
but then i would have to kill you.sorry
Haha..you kill me. Now here's my similar response:Originally posted by partyboynyc

I'd give you my ab workouts, but I wouldn't want you looking as good / better than me, now would I?
what jersey said and that thing where you hang from the pull up bar and bring your knees to your chest.....Do roman chair for like 15 min to 30 min strait (so maybe with out the 45)
Partyboy.....don't hold out on the Abs of Steel tapes bro![]()

all ab excerises work for me...however only if i go slow and flex hard on every rep. I see alot of people doing 200 or so crunches..but there are going like a bat out of hell...slow it down...feel it..make sure it is only the abs working..not momentum..helping you out.
like i said..slow and squize..this should put and end too all your probs...
that's the way i go too. slow and squeeze at the top. i do sets of 15 or so on each exercise. i think i picked that up from Bill Phillips.Originally posted by Shredz

Does your gym have Swiss Balls? They are killer for abs, they support your lower back and at the same time conform to your bodies shape. It actually gives you a greater ROM during crunches (which are much better than situps as your hip flexors don't come into play during the execution of the exercise).
If you're not feeling the workout it means you are either your abs are getting more tone and strong (in which case increase the intensity by combining more lower movements between your crunches) or you are not putting the effort into your routine (then focus on contracting each rep maximally, and moving slowely). Either way I think the hanging leg raises are best and as for floor exercises the bicycle incorporates more ab muscle then other crunches. Don't be afraid to work them!
ya those thingies thats what I was talkin aboutOriginally posted by dumbells101

LIPOSCULPTURE. 3 incision technique.that will do the trick
There were some good Ab Workout Exercises in the Muscle and Fitness magazine issue last month. Four exercises. I think they were, hanging knee raises, normal crunch, cable crunch and (sitting on the end of a bench with your feet out and your back at a 30 degree angle, and bringing your feet in as you raise your back a litte) exercise. LOL...yeah, i don't remember the name of that last one :P
I don't know about the rest of you guys, i've been doing those 4 for a while, and it feels good.
Anywho, that's what's that.
Thnx
