What are the best excersizes to work the Lats? i like the Cable Close Grip Pulldowns and the Cable Rear Pulldowns but are there any better?

Even though you basically called me a liar Ill answer.

Deadlift-#1 for overall back mass period.

Pullups or Chinups-#1 for overall mid to upper back widening, I would alternate between wide pronate grip pullups, medium semi-supinated grip pullups, and shoulder width pronate grip chins-alternate these every 1-2 weeks-your back will widen like no other.

Rows(dumbell, bent over barbell, or chest supported are best)-#1 for overall mid to upper back thickness. I would alternate the type of row every 3-4 weeks.

Thats all you need. Some other additions could be stiff leg deadlifts or hyperextensions or good mornings in place of deads every now and then for a change
