Heart rate during cardio?
So I wanted to stop hijacking a thread in the other forum.
I do cardio for 40 mins in the morning after I lift, fasted. And then in the pm for 30-40mins
Always on the stairmill, not the stair master.
About 3 mins. in my heart rate is at around 174 and can go up as high as 192. stays in this range the entire time of 40 mins
How is this bad?
I am sweating my ass off. And feel fine, other than working pretty hard.
Please tell me how there is something wrong with this.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I am burning more calories.
I

I also do bag work often, and I know for sure during drills my heart rate is above 190.
When I do HIIT on the treadmill, it gets up to 200+

Well I am being told that there must be something wrong with me or that it is not possible that my hR gets up that high.
Is there any danger in working out this strenously? I feel great after.

It is difficult to say unless one knew your intensity! I will say that it seems excessive to get your heart rate to that level for that long of time! 150-160 should be more than enough to effect fat loss! 200+ is high but as long as it's not sustained it isn't horrible!

200+ is only for short bursts. But my daily routine has me @ 170-190 for 30-40 mins

Even when I lift, lets say squats, 215 for 15 to 20 reps one set. My HR easily gets up to 175

On the Stairmill in 40mins I go 4 miles, I think 175 floors and depending on the machine either level 13 or level 6 on the older ones.

I know I had a HR scare where mine was over 200 once. It was a situation like yoours where I had done fasted weights followed by fasted cardio. I make sure I have some carbs before weights and have not had a problem!
Are you on anything? Meds or otherwise??

No meds.
Well, I have been on 250 Test E every week for 5 weeks now and I just added Tren E @ 400 a week. Decided to pin twice a week.
So 125 Test E twice a week
w/
200 Tren E twice a week
But I have been doing this cardio regiment for a couple of months. And have been doing cardio for years at this HR.

As Paul Harvey said "and know you know,,,the rest of the story"! Tren can greatly increase your HR and BP! I would reconsider this if you are alreadsy having issues!
Some ppl have higher and some ppl have lower HR. Your resting is fine and it goes back down according to your post! I would say just keep a watchful eye on it expecially as that tren kicks in! Try eating before your workout! Thats alot of cals and glucose burnt with nothing to feed on! Eating 1/2 hour to 45 min before my workout made a huge diff in my HR if I was doing weights and cardio back to back!
I really dont lioke weights fasted anyhow...cardio yes, weights no!

Ive only hit the tren twice so far. And my HR was like this on and off cycle. Look forward to see what happens once the tren actually kicks in.

Again..make sure you keep a close eye on the HR and BP! Hiit may become to tuff as for many tren ruins cardio ability! You may consider just keeping whatever pace provides you a steady 160 ish HR!
Do you have all of your AI and PRL control sorted out?

Prolactin?
-
02-20-2013, 06:06 PM #22
prolactin antogonist...caber/prami?
Are you using letro? I would get adex or aromasin asap and use it not keep it on hand! letro is very suppresive and hard to dial in a dose!

I wouldn't worry about it, sounds like you're in great cv shape.
The max heart rate calculators are really a joke and max hr is completely individualistic.
Mine gets in 190's all the time too but I don't know how you can stand it for 40 min straight.

well damn, it wasnt cheap. Really was not planning on using it unless I felt I needed it. I have never had any negative sides from anything I have taken in the past. Other then a few Volcano size zits on my back that I had to sick a needle in to pop.
So liquidex from ar-r ?

I think I am in pretty good shape. 6-8 mile hikes on the weekend. When it warms back up will get back on the track and do sprint training.

Sustained HR is usually between 170-190. I only hit 200+ for 1-2 mins when I do HIIT or Kick boxing drills
-
02-20-2013, 06:14 PM #28
Yes...that will work fine. You canj avoid high E2 and PRL by using an AI. Its fine you have letro available as a back up in case you develop gyno but with proper AI usage you should be fine! You should get Caber or Prami as well and keep it on hand incase you are prolactin sensitve while running a 19nor!

Yes I know they are. They look great, but are probably very unhealty. They have been doing this for 20 years or so.
I hate to take something unless I feel I need it. I will order it tonite. Just take it no matter what? Wether I have sides or not?
Thank you for your advise, by the way

My close buddy, said I had to try the tren . So I am. I really wanted to anyway.
He suggested: I know better by the way.
1 shot of test E 250
1 shot of tren E 200 a week no more no less, every 7 days. Now I know for a fact that he has been doing this exact dosing for 2 years straight.
Silly people. This guy runs 7 gyms.

If he knew anything about AAS he would understand the half life of the enethate ester and know that the goal is to have stable blood levels..therefor injecting 2X a week is much better to acomplish this. Keeping stable hormone levels will also help you avoid the acne you were talking about. It is most often caused by hormone changes. I get it after cycle while my body regulates!
Have your friend sign up and we/I can explain the stupidity behind 2 years straight on tren!
