    Sore eyes

Hey guys just finished training heavy legs about an hour and a half ago. I'm curious if anyone gets sore eyes after squatting really heavy?

While squatting, my eyes and head go red because I'm pushing so hard, my eyes water a bit. After I rake the weight and sit down ill wipe the water from my eyes and blink, when I do it feels like there is sand paper under my eyelids, it hangs around for 20mintues and slowly goes away.

But now my head feels heavy and hurts and if I roll my eyes around they hurt as well.

I think it's from lifting heavy and the fact that squatting is so hard on the body that doesn't help either.... Any thoughts? Thankkkks

I've broken blood vessels in my eyes from squats and deadlifts. So yes you can make your eyes sore from the increased pressure.

you're not breathing properly. You obvs are breathing but not properly and not conducive to physical exertion

You're head shouldnt go red and u definitely shouldnt have eye pain no matter how heavy you are going.

Guarantee there are people that lift heavier than you, as there always are with anyone, and highly doubt experienced lifters have the problem u mentioned.

Learn to breathe on the exertion, PROPERLY. It helps drive the weight up. U think that it doesnt cuz u wanna stay tight etc. but breathe nigga breathe

Makes seance, I do breath right before I go for it But not during the squat, I'll look up breathing techniques because I'm going to pop something sooner or later. I had a look at my eyes this morning and they are blood shot and I have a patch of blood in the corner of my right eye.
