I think you mentioned in another thread that you are running a cycle, correct?

the pain in the forearm occurs primarily from overtaxing the tendon. Muscular strength increases quicker than tendon strength. You could be seeing the first signs of tendonitis.

when this occurs to me, I back off the heavier weight and focus on lower weight and higher reps. reverse curls increases this pain in tendon for me too. so I cannot do reverses every time anymore.

any time you change something in your workout, whether it's higher weights, form, types of lifts etc you can end up with new aches and pains. Back off of what seems to be causing it and focus on strict form/lighter weight until it clears up... just my .02. Good luck

Where in your forearms is the pain? Could be tennis elbow, which sucks, but rest will usually heal it up. also icing helps quite a bit.

might be forearm/elbow tendonitis. NSAIDs, rest, light-weight forearm strengthening exercises.

If its mostly while using a barbell or an EZ-curl to curl with and it hurts on the top part of your forearm its actually more common then you think.... Its basically the same thing as shin splints but in your forearms, usually caused by your biceps being a lot stronger then your forearms. If you let go of the bar slower that helps but you should just switch to dumbbells for a few weeks it will go away, only problem is for most people it always seems to come back at some point in time...

I've also had an ache in my right forearm. Had it for about 5 or 6 weeks now.

I thought at first the pain was where I bumped my elbow, but it becomes apparent when doing biceps. I generally work through it, and it sort of fades by the end of the session, but the next day I have a bit of a dull ache.

If I use a finger to try and localise the pain, it feels like its on the outside of my elbow and not coming from a muscle or tendon.
