Off TRT how to mitigate strength loss

I was on low dose TRT .75 cc every week. During this time I was doing PHAT routine and I was able to add weight or reps to most exercises. I am off TRT because my wife and I are planning on having a baby. My doctor doesn't prescribe HCG and I have read conflicting results with clomid. Since being off I switched to Basline's power/hypertrophy since it has less volume and an extra rest day. I have noticed a 5 to 10% decrease in strength in squats, deads, bench and ohp. For those who every came off TRT did you do anything to regain your strength. I haven't done a deload week in a while but I dread deload weeks. Last time I included deload weeks I didn't come back any stronger.

My diet is probably okay. I am eating my bwx15 on off days and bwx16-17 on days. Protein is just over estimated LBM. Carbs are between 1.5 and 2 grams per bw and fat around .45 per LB of bw.

I think I am going to suck it up and do a deload week or two. During this time I am going to try to keep away from caffeine.

clomid might be a good option for you. it will help a little with raising your natty test and might even help with your fertility.

training wise, i don't think you can avoid a drop in performance if there is a significant drop in your test levels.

I did a little more reading on clomid and I thought it may be a good options so I went ahead and ordered some. And I think a deload week may be a good idea. I haven't taken a week off or a deload week in over 12 weeks.

you might like clomid so much that you decide to switch from injectables.

If you're not using creatine now would be a very good time to start.

Why are you not taking your TRT dose? Insurance?

Dont think you just wanna stop..................You didnt list mgs, but since most script test is 200mg per ml, Im assuming you were on 150mgs ew

High TRT dose to suddenly stop

I stopped because my wife and I again are planning on having a baby. About 6 mths ago while I was on I had a sperm count test and I had zero sperm. The test may have been flawed but I went off Test for a while. I was on a low dose 75mg per ml. I had another sperm test done about 6 weeks then 8 weeks later. My count was normal. I also had blood test. My free test wasn't taken but my total test was 573 and my E2 was 28. The talk of getting pregnant stopped so I re-assumed my 75mg per ml ew injections. Then after 8 weeks the subject of getting pregnant came up again so I stopped the injections. Before I stopped my total test was 890 and E2 36.
This isn't the first time I have taken a break from TRT but each time I do I notice a drop in strength. Even at a low dose of test cyp
