    Those troublesome muscles

The more I talk to people in and out of the gym I've found that everyone seems to have at least 1 muscle group that grows much more slowly than others. Most people I've talked to say chest or shoulders.. my chest and shoulders seem to grow the fastest. My biceps and triceps grow slowly. I eat 3000-3500 calories daily and have been slowly increasing. Trying to get used to eating more. I've been trying to do more negatives and slow, controlled reps and while it does appear my arms have grown the tape reads the same. I was thinking drop sets? 5x5's? Any advice on this one? Also, what muscle group(s) do you have the most trouble with?

For troublesome muscles i find that drop sets do the trick.

Start incorporating drop sets and really make it burn. If you're not making funny or grimacing faces at the end of each set, you're not doing them right.

Legs were my weak point. This is what work the best for me. I begin my work out with pre-exhaustion exercises and then perform compound moves for complete overload on my leg muscles. I make sure that I’m squeezing my legs throughout the movement and give the maximum contraction at the peak on every rep.
