    Gf needs help

    So my gf is trying to get a routine set up to lose weight and tone. And suggestions?

    She does cardio and any specific meal diet? And when she's at the gym she doesn't wanna gain mass just tone up so what's the best sets and reps to do?
    She's 24 not sure of BF% 5'7" 143

    She needs to count her TDEE and established her goal.

    Keep the reps between 15-20.

    The weight that she is comfortable with to do 15-20 reps with right technique.

    Please define the word tone. Does she want definition? Firmness? There is no such thing as tone in this business as far as I am concerned.

    Funny because I keep meaning to write a thread about women in the gym, how to train and eat etc.....

    It's going to be my next thread but I havnt had time to write it up yet....


    Training in the 15-20 rep range is pointless IMO for most of us...

    If your GF wants to look 'toned', what she really wants is to loose some Bodyfat and gain a little muscle....

    As far as reps I'd have her working in the 5-12 range... Heavy training... Big lifts...

    All my GF does is squat, dead, sumo dead, bench, cleans, clean and press, military press, pull ups, bb rows...

    Big lifts are he most efficient....

    Tone as in firmness. And I've heard that more weight is bad cuz it will just add more mass on top of body fat. ?? But that's why im asking on here lol
