    Cardio before sleeping !

Does cardio ( hiit ) 20mins before sleeping waste of time and can't burn fat as same as morning or after lifting ?

I'd probably have trouble falling asleep. Even an hour after lifting can be a bit hard to sleep. Cardio, I think, would be even worse. And I can usually fall asleep upon contact with the pillow.

you will get the same effect from cardio if you were to do it at 9am or 9pm.. makes little-no difference..

I don't get it. What difference does it make what time of day or how close to bedtime?

I always perform cardio before bed, usually 10-15 minutes.... Sometimes 30 seconds

How long before bed are you contemplating doing cardio? I would have at least an hour between cardio and bed. That should give your brain time to become mellow. Once your brain is calm and your worn out from cardio it should help you sleep. There is no set time where you get the most out of cardio. The best time for you to do your cardio exercise is when you feel it is the best time to do it, and stick to that time.

It would just keep you up there is nothing special about it but cardio before you eat in the morning is best because you burn a lot more fat that way

What I know is as long as you do the right type cardio depend on your goal it will work. It doesn't matter you do it in the morning afternoon or before bed.
And are you sure after 20minutes hit cardio you still can fall asleep ?

Cardio before bed is a good way to stay up late. Plus I would hope your cardio is enough to break a good sweat. Then a shower is required
