Routine while on first cycle? Advise accepted

    Day 1 legs/shoulder
    Day 2 back/biceps
    day 3 chest/triceps.
day 4 to 6 repeat and take a day off.

Or should I do 3 days straight then 1 day off then repeat?

This is what I do, on and off cycle.

Mobility work everyday (Stretching, foam roll etc.)

    Monday: Chest and Core
    Tuesday: Off
    Wednesday: Legs
    Thursday: Off
    Friday: Arms and Shoulders
    Saturday: Off
    Sunday: Back

As you can see I've broken the body down into sections.

I feel each body part gets enough rest between days when it's a secondary mover.

Thx. so hitting the muscle groups once a week is still good while on aas?? I though you were able to hit them more since you recover faster. Whats better?

It's your CNS that needs the recovery time.

Visit and lounge and read Marcus's Diary for some modern training styles. You'll like it.

    This.

And joints. The muscles will heal faster but things like tendons will not. If you're prone to over-training problems like tendinitis I wouldn't up your training frequency.

iWork out 6 on one off. Either on or off cycle. Of course on cycle I push out those last few reps and go as heavy as possible to murder my muscles. Take advantage of the improved recovery. I switch from low 4-6 rep ranges to extremely high 20+ reps depending on the exercise. If I'm strong I usually go super heavy, if I'm having a not as strong day I rep it out. Personally I love high reps. Less injuries, great pumps and I always get super sore. Drop sets and negatives are great to

    Chest
    Shoulders
    Back
    Arms
    Legs
On the sixth day start over.
    Dy seven take off

Always 5-6 exercises per body part 4-6 sets per exercise. Always lift to failure and if you have a spotter to beyond failure. Focus (mind to muscle) on every rep and FLEX the muscle!

Works for me brotha. Good luck.

If you have been training a few years then you already know how your body responds. I don't change anything according to whether I'm on cycle or not. Things just happen a little faster on. Strength increases happen in bigger jumps each time you hit a part. Increase your protein intake.
