    Question Dumbell Sets

Wondering if anyone has a set of these?

powerblocks/bowflex set look much nice but they are so expensive.

    Considering these due to price.

    Amazon.com: One Pair of Adjustable Dumbbells Kits - 200 Lbs (100lbs X 2pc): Sports & Outdoors

    any opinions would be appreciated.....thanks.

I used to own a pair of the power blocks (5-45lb). I bought then used. They were still in good shape and locked in really well. You can (or at least could) add on plate stacks up to 125lbs. Not something you'd want to drop though.

Are they comfortable when doing curls, presses, flys? I ask bc they have a different design then the others...

I had no issues using them compared to regular dumbbells. I guess if you have really big hands, it may get uncomfortable.

These look good. I wonder if you would be able to change out some of the plates to get more than 100lbs on each

john, I looked at them more in detail on ebay and it defiantly looks like you can- would put them at a 120lb per dumbell if you find the weight.

I own a set of PowerBlocks. Mine go to 130 lbs per dumbbell. Great investment, wouldn't be without them!
