I have 40 days! NEED HELP!!
Hello again folks! I'll try to keep this somewhat short and sweet. I have a physical test coming up in 40 days and I need to add a good amount of push-ups and sit-ups to my score. So yeah, my 1.5 mile run is fine as is my sit & reach but I need to be able to do 30+ push-ups and 40+ sit-ups in a minute. As of right now, I can do about 10-15 push-ups and 30~ sit-ups. Is that goal feasible in the 40 days I have to prepare? I could REALLY use some diet/exercise advice as well as SUPPLEMENTS! I have 20% for life at GNC so preferably something they sell as far as supplements go...
I am 27, 6'-1" and I weigh 180lbs, I use to be over 300 in high school and lost a good amount of weight but I've never really done any real "lifting" or weight training of any kind for that matter. I don't know what my BMI is but I guessing it's pretty pathetic... My job is pretty much 6-8 hours of straight cardio outdoors (""lawn technician"... yeah, I spray chemicals on lawns and push around a 50lb+ spreader all day) so I won't be doing a ton of additional cardio, probably just run a mile or two every morning. I generally walk 10-15 miles a day at work so I don't feel it's necessary to do a bunch of additional cardio. LOL
