Input on my Chest Workout idea

I'm thinking of doing Parallel Bar Dips first in my chest workout. I'll be going very heavy on this & going into a bench press after. My reasoning for this is because my last shoulder workout i did parallel bar dips emphasizing on the triceps & the next day my outer pecs were slightly sore.

So what's your motive here again? To pre-exhaust the triceps to start the chest routine? Sure, that can work to recruit more chest.

Will i pre-exhaust them to a point that i can't press maximum weight on the bench?

No, but your bench numbers might drop. Two things: focus on the chest during bench and pinch those shoulder blades together; and don't chase soreness, sure it makes a workout feel productive but focus on always going to failure. Check out Marcus' thread for a wealth of good info on training.
