Today was the second consecutive time of feeling like I was coming down with the flu ~18 hours after a heavy leg day (heavy for me). Does anyone else experience this? My thoughts are it is from the accumulation of lactic acid and other toxins in so large a muscle group. If this is correct then what can be done to help alleviate it? Besides taking Advil and such. I take to much of that already and am trying to cut back on its use.
I felt much better after eating breakfast but must admit to taking 800 mgs of Advil. By workout time today (~22 hours after leg workout) I was feeling much better and actually increased either weight/reps for all of my exercises in my chest routine.
