    Time to change workout routine

    What's the minimum time to change workout routine ?

    i'd say once every 4-5 weeks. basically workout 4 weeks, rest one week the hit the gym again for 4 week with slightly different routine, rest one week, and so on...

    yea but I don't think we're near what Yates is! besides he retired early injuring himself for over doing its good to change it up, it gives you muscle time to recover.

    For the past year or so, I've been following the same routine every quarter year. Then I change it up the following quarter, but not much change really.

    ^^^ I agree, I think the only benefits is giving your muscles time to recover, and avoid injuries.
