chest is sore from back day?

Yesterday was back/bi's and not only are they sore but my chest and tri's are sore. The only thing I did different was db pull overs instead of db rows. I have never done pull overs before and wanted to give it a try. I am suppose to work chest/tri's today but they are pretty sore. Should I skip chest and tri's this week?

You went to hard, to fast on a new exercise with a large range of motion. Skip it or train lighter. Won't kill ya either way.

Yes I did go pretty hard... Been trying the HIT style training from those Dorian Yates videos Marcus posted. I'm pretty sore and think I would benefit more from rest than I would training so that's what I'll do

Pullovers are a unique exercise... No other exercise can stimulate my chest, triceps, AND lats at the same time like pullovers can. This is not unusual to be sore the day after on both fronts. You did a new exercise, and your body is now adapting to it. Consider it a job well done. Keep your form good and don't go too heavy too fast and you should be golden.

Also on another note.... When you workout your chest (bench press, for example), you to some degree work the correlating back muscles on the negative portion. Same thing with biceps & triceps... same thing with quadriceps and hamstrings... look up antagonist and agonist muscle relations. It is a fairly important concept commonly overlooked.

    Cheers
