So who,s done 20 rep squats
Just started the 20 rep squats power programme on monday. Everything went good not to taxing though i am expecting that to change.
Program is
Exercise Sets Reps
Power Cleans 5 3
Squat 1 20
Overhead Press 2-3 12
Chin-ups 2 do until failure
Dips 2 10
Conventional Deadlifts 1 15
It is done on M W F running for 6 weeks only thing i,m going to change is
Bench for overheads and RDLS FOR DEADS on alternating workouts. Also started drinking whole milk about 2 litres a day.
So if anybody has done this workout whats to expect such as how brutal are they, how much size can be gained thanks in advance.

Seriouspowerlifting.com its an old school program introduced by john mcCallum
in 1968 you add 5 or 10 lbs to the squat every workout. Mark rippetoe speaks highly of it too apparently it separates the men from the boys,find out soon enough.

Yes ive knock a few sets of 20 out without any issues, much prefer lower rep range myself

Yeah Marcus I've doing 5/3/1 for a while and 5x5 before so be interested in
what kind of carry through there is when i go back to that.
I,m assuming the claims of up to 30lbs gained are aimed at novice although
I dont class myself as novice i,m certainly not elite so it will be good to see what kind of gains i can make from this.

I usually incorporate 20 squats into a circuit I do.
20 reps bench, 20 reps squats, 20 clean n press. no rest inbetween exercises.
rest 2 min and go for 3-4 rounds.. saw DLB do it and I figured I would try it, it was killer

Yeah saw that video absolutely destroyed her just done tone tonights workout and 102.5kg and a was blowing out my arse gonna be fun over the next couple of weeks.
