Some good diet tips and exercises that would help with a six pack in a few months for when it hits summer would be greatly appreciated.

To reveal your ab muscles its down to your diet. You can use various exercises to build and harden the ab wall up but it's all diet related if you want to see them

Yep Marcus is right on point as always! Learning to time your carb intake, thus controlling insulin is the single most important concept that has helped me trim bodyfat. Obviously, this is simplifying things but this concept is a big help.

ludacris! lol I typically don't do abs, but I've recently suffered a back injury so I plan on incorporating more abs/core training to stabilize and help my back.

Imola- I am very interested in finding out more about timing my carb intake to control insulin. Should I just google it or can you point me in a direction?

    Thanks for your help..

Abs on a skinny kid is like tits on a fat chic, its not even that impressive.

If I were you I would pick up some weights and build some muscle, and the 6 pack will come over time

First off you need to google and get familiar with the Glycemic Index (GI). This is a rating system for carbs and how they effect blood sugar levels. Using low GI carbs will help by not spiking blood sugar levels and thus keep insulin at bay. There are a ton of different approaches as far as carb intake timing. But what I've had the most success with is only having carbs in 3 meals/day. Usually the two meals leading up to my workout and then my pwo meal. Try googling terms like "carb cycling" or "rotational carbs". Varying your carb intake on a daily basis can help as well. Often I will do 3 low carb days in a row then have a carbup or refeed day where I consume carbs in almost every meal.

Smart move. Most don't realize that back issues can come from weak abs or tight ham's. Or the combination thereof. It simply throws the body out of balance, resulting in back pain.

How does the saying go? Abs are made in the kitchen? Diet over Excercise in this case.

I didn't really pay alot of attention to abs or core in general until I hurt my back. Reading one of Imola's posts brought back those feels.

I add abs to the end of almost every routine but its small amounts one or two different movements til fatigue and a few minutes of planking. Feels to me it really helps the solid feeling when squatting/DL with those.
