How many times a week should you be training you legs?

    In specifics your quadriceps?

Squats is the beast for quadriceps!

    But how many squats?

    How many times a week?

Also with leg curls (that train the hamstrings)

    How many times a week?

Alicia Keys her legs are beautiful <3

I think women in general are blessed to have naturally good legs - that estrogen! lol

Once every 10 days. Hamstrings on separate day.

    I do 3x.

But only do plyometrics (box jumps, jump squats, leap frogs, etc) with 40lb vest.
I have knee injuries from military.

I train legs every 4 days, doing squats every other time. mixing it up with leg press as core heavy exercise then adding all others after.

I respect your experience but for me that seems a little long. I usually work my legs once a week but could prob do 2x (one light one heavy day) as long as they recover properly.

I do like hams on a dif day though, I work them together, but it would allow for better focus on each muscle.

want to be good at something? then you have to do it often.
squat 2-10 times a week, depending on your goals. Want general strength? twice a week minimum. Want to be the strongest you can be? then you squat as many times per week as you can recover well from. 3-5 times is generally well tolerated after some adaptation. and oh, workouts should be short and to the point.
there are plenty of good squat programs online, find one with variable intensity(65-90%) for 2-3month training cycle

I still think as a power lifter,

Squat 2 times per week. Warm up and as many sets as possible finishing at max. Then work back down.

    Chest the same principal.

    Deadlifts, once only.

Assistance exercises should be included in every workout! Cardio! I used to play squash 4 times per week in comp at A level. Now I have so many injuries I just walk to the shop! Before playing squash I did aerobic classes after every workout!
Just love leotards, looking not wearing! Sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK I am not as good as I once was, but I am still OK once! Varies from once to 4 times per week! More is better!

Sleep, I do not drink or use other drugs, 8 hours sleep every night! I nap on weekends!

    Good training,

    John
