    Muscle Split - Same Muscle

    So anybody has a different muscle split, check/back, arms, yada yada yada.

    Is it possible/feasible/worth splitting the same muscle heads into different days.

    For example:

    Monday: Tricep Medial, Lateral
    Thursday: Tricep Long Head

    Is it silly since you only emphasize one of the heads with different exercises, you don't really get to isolate them. Any thoughts?

    what's your current split/routine? how long you been training for?

    Even though the triceps are composed of several heads it pretty much impossible to particularly target each head individually to any practical extent. If you want to split the muscles just do different exercises on different days, this will allow to give a particular head more emphasis but you will never truly be able to isolate.

    I've been training pretty consistent for 2-3 yrs. My training split is:
    Mon:chest
    Tue: back
    Wed: arms
    Thur: shoulders
    Friday: morning chest/ after work legs
    Sun: WPT

    I just thought about this split and wanted other opinions. But like my original post said it's kinda silly since you can emphasize but not isolate the heads.
