    dumbells advice

I dont access to a gym cuz of personal matters and I live in an apartment so no benchpressing or machine access either so I wanted to know could dumbells give the same results as machines, cables, bechpressing would give?

Heavy, adjustable dumbells, an adjustable bench and an imagination is far better than nothing. Push-ups, pull-ups, dips, etc...

Well, you're very limited. But as stated, progress can still be made until such time as you're back in a gym. Main thing, don't give up.

You can get swole off pushups and pullups. Hundreds of varieties for all levels of fitness.

I personally prefer free weights over machines or cables any day.

Just get a set of dumb bells, weighted vest, and pullup bar and you should be good to go.

Your body doesn't know if you are using machines, barbell, cables, dumb bells etc all it knows is that it is being challenged and stressed and reacts accordingly thus building muscle.

As long as the intensity is there that's what counts.

    -Cheers

I feel dumbells are superior to cables, machines and a barbell for 90% of lifts. They just feel more natural for me, less stress on wrists

It's definitely nice to have a gym, but not totally essential. At one time, I didn't have access so I did a load of pull ups, push ups, plyo's, etc. It made me creative. And, like Kelkel states, don't give up!
