Without knowing anything else I'd say it's great. Keep it up. Lift smart, good form with mind-muscle connection. It's not all about how heavy...

I would say about average. IMO everybody should be able to at least bench their Body weight.

There is no good or bad doesn't matter what anyone thinks other than yourself. To many people get hurt trying to keep up with the guy next to them.
If you are happy with it that is all that matters. It is just a number on the end of a piece of iron use it to measure your progress not to compare it to others.
Good job on the accomplishment

90s aren't bad. But I'd much rather walk in the gym knowing I looked better than the next guy as opposed to outbenching him...just me.

I really only care about the big three.
Benching those 90s is more impressive than barbell benching 180 lbs. Keep at it buddy.

The day I stopped caring how heavy is the day I started looking much better.

That's good man, but it's just a number on the side, your body doesn't see the number so who cares what weight it is! Long as u making gains!

Not only do I lift lighter than half the guys in the gym, I also have less injuries than most of them AND look better than 90% of them, focus on the muscle being worked instead of maxing out weight for your imaginary audience and using backup muscles to compensate
With the exception of the main compound movements during a bulk

How many reps are you doing? 90lb dbs aren't that heavy, but who really gives a shit about how heavy a db is in comparison to other people's ability? Unless you're a powerlifter or weight lifter (and you wouldn't be doing dumbbell benches for either of those sports), it doesn't matter how much you can lift.
What matters is that the weight your lifting is challenging you, but not too heavy as to make your form suffer. And always strive to make progress in your reps or weight or both.

I find it damn strange that steroids user dont care about strengh... Its like a racer who dont care about the quality of his tire...
WTF people!
Its like saying: I want to look big but be weak as hell...
Cmon, physic is important and I agree about sacrificing a bit of performance for better physics. But looking good and being weak is stupid...
As long as form is respected risk of injury is minimal.
Just my .02
OP, 90lbs dumbell at 175 is pretty good.
Never sacrifice form for more weigh, but being strong wont injure you.(except if you use so much steroid that your muscle outmatch you tendons)
But like said above the big three is more representative of your overall strengh.
Good luck

My main focus is to maximize muscular hypertrophy. There are many ways to get there.
Increased strength is a side benefit that I gladly accept but its not my main goal.

OP keep it up man and tailor your training to match your goals.

to the OP, The only persons opinion that matters on this is yours. I understand looking for approval and acknowledgment for your achievements. I videotaped the first time I benched 315 because I had to show all my friends who weren't there.
At the end of the day you have to look in the mirror and realize the only competition you will ever really have is the guy staring back at you.
The first day you went into the gym and lifted and flexed in the mirror is the first day that you became eternally "too small". You will never be big enough, or strong enough or shredded enough.
So to sum it all up, its a journey that has no final destination and is ever evolving. The journey is its own reward.

I generally focus on strength gains, but my goals are mixed. I would like to gain both mass and strength, so I'm exploring both. Since I committed seriously to weightlifting over the past six months, my program has alternated almost monthly, between increasing reps for one month and the next month decreasing reps as low as 2 and breaking all my previous weight limits.
My diet has been great, for the most part. I have gained 30 pounds in 6 months, all natural. I have been at/near my current body weight before, and it seems very easy to return to this point. ~218 pounds. My goal is to gain another 20 pounds and then focus on cutting.
Typical day:
1. Protein shake (50 g)
2. 5-7 eggs (half egg whites)
3. 1-2 cups cottage cheese.
4. Protein shake (50 g)
5. Sandwhich, veggies.
6. Tuna or sardines
7. Fruit, nuts (cashews for magnesium and zinc, instead of buying the ZMA product, proven to increase testosterone production for anyone that is not taking in enough of these minerals)
8. Dinner... meatloaf or steak or chicken until I can't eat anymore... with some veggies
Lately, I've cut my carbs down really low and have seen a modest decrease in body fat, using my abs as my primary measure... I feel great, never have decreases in energy. I might eat some oatmeal before the gym, and I always have fruit after the gym (banana + apple) followed by protein.
