Coming out of being sick
Finally able to move and do normal activates after being bed ridden for almost 5 weeks now. I have lost quite a significant amount of weight, but I'm young so I am not tripping about it.
My question is that should I come back into the gym at full strength and use that 5 weeks of downtime as an advantage and really shock my system? Or should I gently ease back into my routine?
I have lost almost 20 pounds give or take 5 pounds of water I was probably holding. I don't necessarily feel weakened, but my whole body was shaking the other day when I was just picking up 135 from the ground at a buddies..
Just trying to get some advice on how others would come out of their sickbeds?

Take it slow and take the next couple of weeks or more easing back into it or you will risk a relapse. No need to over strain your body while it's still trying to recuperate.

Take it easy and slowly regain your strength and weight back naturally, it will probably take slightly longer to regain it than you did to lose it so don't over do it, nice and slow is the key.
