How many sets do you guys recommend?

I am a natural and I usually 25 sets per body part except for tri's and bi's. Everyone on the internet says about 12 sets is the maximum but I've had excellent results with 25 sets? I feel you guys know what you're doing so I would like to know how much sets you prefer?

    25 "sets"??

    except for tri's and bi's?

so you think 25 sets of squats is a good number? and how many reps per set are you thinking?

or are we not communicating, some kind of translation issue between how you talk in Cape Town and the rest of us here on the board?

for me and many bodybuilder I learned form is, if you lift heavy then limit to three sets each with 8-15 reps to failure, lighter weight same reps but do 4 sets. the goal here is to break the muscle fibers with least amount of reps. higher reps will result in tendon injury and will hinder your next workout.

It's not how much you do but the intensity of what you do. Visit Marcus's Diary in the Lounge and read it from the start to catch up. It's all about HIT training, motivation as well as a lot of fun. It's change how you train.

Are you training your ego or your muscles? Your muscles don't care about numbers, weight, sets, reps, etc, they only care and respond to stress. Intensity is key.
