I don't think it matters at all. I lift whenever I am the most energetic and enthusiastic. Cardio is a different story in my opinion. I'd do cardio right after lifting if your goal is fat loss. If you are just doing cardio for cardiovascular fitness or sports, than it doesn't matter.

Lifting really doesnt matter, i would deffinatly do cardio when u first wake up on an empty stomach. Thats the best time IMO.

If there is a best time during the day it is shown to be in the late afternoon to early evening... about 1800 depending on your daily schedule. That is when your body is the warmest.

Yeah i def say go with cardio in the morning, your on an empty stomach. Eat an hour after the cardio. Personally I love to lift in the afternoons when I'm the most energetic, because I try to take a nap before i go in. I also have eaten many carbs, etc about an hour before heading to the "pain zone"

Warrior, glad to se I'm not the only one that still tells time in this manner. Ever have people look at you funny when you tell them what time it is?

I have read before that your biological clock allows most persons to be at their peak around 3:30 or for Warrior 1530 hours! Doesnt necesarrily mean it is true just what I heard.
