With that frequency I guess it would depend on how big your workouts are.

yes your working biscept or triceps wich are some of the smallest muscles in your body 4 out of the first 5 days of the week

You did not give enough information for anyone to really say anything. How many lifts? How many sets? Number of reps? What are your symptoms of overtraining? My gut tells me you no where near it though.

You'd likely know if you were overtraining by delayed recovery time, low energy, low motivation and general symptoms of running yourself into the ground! I've tried a split like that and I just felt like I wasn't giving the secondary movers enough rest (biceps and triceps) by essentially doing them 4/6 training days. But overtraining and not giving your muscles enough time to recover are two different things.

I would look at if your training correctly and hard enough than over training imho. It would be impossible for me to do that routine the way I train. Are you growing from that routine?

No way in h*ll that I could follow that routine and train with intensity/ to failure.

agree. I didn't know what the fuk I was doing back then. And I seriously over trained. which is why my growth was anemic. strength increased.

today, I'm on a 3:1 protocol. which means 1 day in 4 I rest. I wouldn't be able to train as I do and only rest one day a week.

Well everyone has been chiming in asking for more info about his routine and he doesn't seem to care to much
