Working out 6 days a week...
Does anyone here workout six days a week? I do. I usually rest on Sunday.
Something like this..
Mon Chest tri and 20 mins cardio
Tues Legs and 4 arms and abs
Weds Shoulders and caves and 20 mins cardio
Thur Backs and Bi's With dead lift
Fri 40 min cardio and abs (I guess you can almost say this is a rest day) would ya?
Sat flat bench either with Db or bar bell which ever one I didn't do on Monday.
Leg press or squat which ever one I didn't do on Tue
Dead lift
THis is a ruff est. I might change it up depends on how I am feeling and the body part that day. I was just wondering. Whats everyones thoughts?Last edited by Bodacious; 10-09-2014 at 07:18 AM.

Cardio and abs I'd call an off day not a full rest day though, atleast one day a week you should take the whole day off and refrain from exerting yourself, that's my opinion.. Plenty of people go for runs and what not every day which is fine.
I currently work out essentially 6 days a week, it's a 3 on 1 off split so it's more like 3/4 or 6/8 days.

the 3/1 would be a good deal. I just cant do that because on Sundays it family day here. We don't spend much time together mon-saturday because of our work.
I just wanna make sure I am give the muscles enough time to rest to say. Which I think I am. Wanted to see what yall thought.

I go 6 times as well. sometimes 5, depends on how sore i am. Like i changed my workout and i am doing bis /tris together... but i was too sore to do chest two days after even because my triceps where so sore from the increase in weight i was able to lift from not doing chest and triceps together. my training was just like yours.. but just changed it around the other day.

I also workout 6 days/wk. I break my body down into three primary muscles groups (chest, back, legs) and hit those muscles really hard on M, W, F. On the "off" days (Tu, Th, Sa) I do plyometrics and "pretty muscles" like shoulders, bi/tri, calves, abs, traps, and small muscles that require single joint movement. This seems to work best for me.
