    Opinions??

Trying to get the most leg growth as possible...
In wk 7 of 12/500 testc week.

Right now my leg workout looks like this

Sun- squats 4 sets of 8 and tgen usually a heavier weight at the end for a set of 3....front squats 4sets 10,
Leg extensions 3x15, leg press 3x15-20

Wed- sldl 4x8, hammer strength ham machine 3x15, pull throughs 3x10-12

My legs are weak and small compared to rest of my body and want to get the most growth as possible...

Does this look ok? Can i/should i go ahead and squat on the second leg day? Maybe do a 5x5 with heavier weights on sun and 4x10-12 on wed

Just looking for ideas to get all i can get..right now im recovering fine between the two workouts

Looks pretty good, you just have to gut it out and break through the mental barrier. Legs have the potential to be very strong, you just have to tap into the mind and release the power. I always start with squats, and then to leg press, squats are a full body exercise, it tales everything to control the heavy weight rep after rep. I can focus more on my quad muscles on the sled, I start off with a lighter weight for high reps to get blood into the muscle, then add weight for another 3-4 sets until I can't do more than 10 reps. You need heavy weight and higher reps for legs to grow IMO.

Squat both days, maybe do 1 day with 3 sets of 10 and another with 10 sets of 3? You need to find what makes your legs grow.

Cut out leg press, I saw an article that explained why perfectly, if you think about the position it puts you in it's like a fully bent over squat, the worst position you could be in and there's little to no stabilisation for your core. Placing a lot of stress on your spine.

    Squat 2x a week, try 3x a week, try different rep/set/tempos.

to add on about the leg press if you watch someone do it many people try and get a full rom and twards the bottom loose the lower curvature of there back leaving you very prone to injury. I agree I completely cut it out of my training 5 months ago and have never looked back. also they wont grow if your not eating but high volume and train hard they'll grow.

I have always done them, I keep my back in a good position and it never bothers me. I had surgery on my low back in 2000 so I can't go as heavy or as deep as I would like to on squats. My peak in the mid 2000's on the press was 16 plates a side after doing 8 sets of squats working up to 5.5 plates a side. I can't do that now, getting too old and my joints can't handle it anymore. Your legs are so strong you just can't lift enough on squats to get the full power potential out of them, IMO.

Try not worrying about your number of sets and reps for leg extensions. For example, just do as many sets as you want until you feel that you've done as much stimulation as you can. For me this is somewhere around 8 or 9. Go to COMPLETE POSITIVE FAILURE every set. As in you literally cannot lift the weight up another inch. Then the set is done. I usually gauge my weight by doing a set of 15 for warm up, and then making sure I don't go over 15 or under 6, but I don't actually count my reps. I just go until I can't go any more, don't pause for more than a second and if I do pause I pause at the contracted point, and come as close as I can to complete positive failure.

I would do one day as a 5x5 for squats and the other maybe 3 reps for 8 sets doing speed squats. Are you squatting to parallel? Are you including deadlifts? Thought about using chains while squatting?
