    Puking after every workout???

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I am incorporating cardio acceleration into my workouts between sets and by the end of the workout I am dizzy and verge of puking. I'll chill out by walking/light jog post lift but when I get off and head to change room it hits me like a brick and I yak yak yak yak. Or just massive gagging and burps during workout. Kneel down after sets sometimes as well.

Have mixed my meals up and tried going on empty stomach as well but still always gets me sick. Should I slow down my workouts or is this a sign I'm doing freaking awesome. Only started getting sick about 1/4 year ago. Been lifting for like 8 years now.

Was Chest/Tri today with cardio accell between sets - like kettlebell squats, mountain climbers, burpees, jog on spot, push ups, bicycles, etc.

Should I slow the shit down on the cardio accells ?

Have you tried eating one hour before training?

Yeah, still get the gagging near end of workouts and dizziness, was thinking of maybe incorporating some ginger pills into supplements for preworkout. The worst is the fish oil burps. absolutely horrible. hahah

Try skipping the cardio between sets and see what happens. Can't imagine your strength and size increasing with cardio in the mix like that.

Could be excessive lactic acid build up. Only time I've ever puked was after sets of heavy squats.

Thanks for quick reply's guys. Yeah I'll chop the accelleration between for next lift and test it out that way. Give her a try tomorrow and see how she goes. Was testing it out seeing how my body responded to Jim Stoppani's shortcut to shred where I first learned of the cardio accelleration technique about 2 months ago, was pretty interesting and has gotten my energy through the roof with some decent strength increases. I'll chop it tomorrow though and see

Have you tried eating during your workout? If not try eliminating the cardio first then try that, see if it helps.

You should probably talk to a doc IMO.

I'll give that a try too if eliminating cardio accell doesn't work, bring a banana or 2 in with me. If all else fails I'm headin to the doctor this Friday.

Good idea, bring some fruit in with you like a banana and skip the cardio. Try resting a bit longer between sets and change things around puking every time isn't good

Worked great, Banana around middle of workout and had a bit longer breaks without the cardio in between. Had a lot more strength again, I think I am going to withhold the acceleration and go back to the basics. Felt great after too and no N/V symptoms. Tossed up a lot more weight too it was nice. Got pretty great pump going too. Thanks for advice guys. Thank the Lords this forum has insightful users, I feel like I've been cured from the plague without getting sick. I will probably save the wild acceleration stuff for once a week and test it out.

That feeling's awful. I've had it a couple of times, mainly after squats or heavy arm work.

100% was the problem, had another great lift this morning without problems and tonight will be the same I presume. Easier to keep my Macros in now without them flying out in the change room hahah
