Has anyone ever heard of these? What is the general consensus on these things?

Huh! You guys use them for your chest and biceps?

The only reason I have ever used any machine is lack of good free weight exercises. LIke I use some machines for my traps and legs.

I always thought people stayed away from machines.

The only thing I use the hammer machines for is back (iso-rows, hi and low) and shoulders (behind the neck military press).

That is exactly what I used them for last night. I also use the seated pulley row machine.

Do the iso low and high work your traps mainly?

I've used them alot too. They're a great way of hitting the muscles at different angles compared to only using free weights all the time.

Variety is the spice of life and shocking the muscles with a different machine works great.

I've used they're shoulder press, different bench presses and back machines. I love the back machines the best. They really hit the back.

hammer strength isnt just some machine. it is the best free weight machine ever. i dont put hammerstrength in the same category as machines. their machines are life fitness or body fitness.

Hammer Strength are awesome machines. I incorporate them into every workout. We have a lot of them at our gym,at least one or two for every major body part ie decline/incline/bench/behind neck shoulder press/millitary press. I usually try to use them for one part of body part ex. If I do flat bar bench and incline dumbells then I would do decline on Hammer Strength. Or I use them towards the end of my workout for that extra burn. Luv them and so do most people in my gym.
