Right foot turns out when I squat

My feet are shoulder with apart but when I go down I can't keep my right foot from turning out. I had a high ankle sprain in October of 2014 not sure if it's the cause. Also is a turn of the foot going to compromise the lift and strength distribution?

It may compromise strength distribution, i have the same problem and am working to correct it. My right foot always feels slightly more comfortable when pointed more out but i think it's just a poor habit developed over time and needs to be fixed by queuing to keep them both even consistently.

I see alot of guys with there toes pointing out...slightly. Its not exaggerated maybe 10 to 15 degrees tops....trying to make an educated guess here. How much does it turn and is there any other part of your body doing anything funky?
