People with lagging traps, Try This

Hey guys, I like to play around alot in the gym with new techniques on hitting a certain muscle with different variations and so i decided to give this a go which kinda resembles a Incline Shrug, Here it is

    1) If you have a Chest Supported T bar row Then this exercise can be done.
    2) Start with Something light for the start of this exercise just so you get the feel for it in your own way
    3) Simply hold the bar handles Palms Facing each other OR palms facing to floor works aswel but everyones diff
    4) Simply let the weight slowly drop your shoulders forward so you get a real good stretch in the traps
    5) On the way back up shrug the weight up and also try pinch shoulder blades back and continue to go back down SLOW!!

It has added thickness for me and also height (When i play around with positions) so give it a shot.

Possibly there might be a thread already of this maby but if not i hope it helps.

Not a bad idea, almost like a horizontal face pull. Nice write up. I really like deadlifts and bent over rows which for me really put on some size. Single dbl shrugs are a nice change and work the core as well.

    Thanks.

Way better than shoulder-problem-inducing upright rows.

Just be sure to focus on the stretch and squeeze, You can go fairly heavy with these and it doesnt put no strain on shoulders (Not to my experience with them) but they are a staple in my trap training routine and even rhomboids..
