The program will cause an increase in size naturally as strength increases.

Your friend is probably wanted more hypertrophy. So adding in some accessory lifts at the end of the workout wouldn't hurt providing he can still perform well for his next workout.

I told him to do dips and chins, incline dumbbell and some tricep and biecep and on the third day some leg curls and extension with some abs us this good enough or too much

Ditch Stronglifts is my opinion. Much better programs are starting strength if a beginner or Texas method and Bill Starr/Madcow 5x5.

You could so some selected isolation work but when first starting out I'd stick to the original program to get a feel for it.

I do agree thst madcow would be a better choice.

    stronglift is extremly minimalist.

which is a good thing but not optimal in any way.

Stronglifts may be a decent introductory routine but it lacks alot. You need to train abs and do some accrsory work for all the other muscle groups. Your friend needs to set some goals in order to be able to train properly. Does he want to BB, PL, etc.?
