So I have knee surgery about 10 years ago. High school injury. Started lifting a year and a half ago. Noticed My left quad leg which had the bad knee injury. Is noticeably small. I try to train with single leg exercises. It's not weaker at all just less muscle growth. Any ideas how to correct? Thanks for any help

Do more unilateral leg work. Single-leg leg presses, Bulgarian split squats, lunges, single-leg leg extensions (like mentioned). Also during your squats try to make both sides mirror each other and keep the weight distribution even.
