Corporate Gym Takeover
The gym I go to has been one of if not the best bodybuilding type gym in my area. No dress code, no fancy frills just good old fashioned hard core weights and machines. However the gym was recently bought out by corporate America and is now one of these new mcgyms. Dumbells only to 90#, dress code and what not. Have any of you experienced this?

Yep. I definitely didn't go to a hardcote gym but it wasn't a planet shitness either. La fitness bought it now it seems like its all old people and the gym is slowly being pussified.

Actually it was bought by you fit. The problem is there aren't any other hard core gyms around here, so it's either you fit or L.A. Fitness. Bummer.

L.A. Fitness here is aight
Plenty of asses to stare at & they have up to 125 pound dumbbells, which no one uses except for like 2-3 guys including me.
But, after my financial situation shifts for the better, I am really interested in switching to LifeTime Fitness. More asses

Yes, experienced this but just switched gyms a few years ago. Sad truth is, that for every one hardcore dedicated person there are 10 people there to read a magazine while walking or curl 20lb dumbbells. Most cities have an athletes gym with powerlifting/ Olympic lifting

agree all the way with you guys. and no chalk wtf lol!

I dunno, as long as there's hot asses - I'm solid
But, it's true - it's just business. Anyone who pays is welcome - why not
I rather own a In&Out Burger than a specialty gym. Not because I like it in any way aside from collecting fat cash.
The only juicer gym that I knew of here just went out of business & I thought they had something really cool going - apparently not

Some of the new pvssy waste gyms are worse than others. Like PF or whatever that other one that looks just like it is called.
LA Fitness & Lifetime Fitness has the market cornered here. It's a half decent medium.
But, to each is own for sure. Shit, when I weighed 145 I was scared to go in the weight area at LA fitness.
