I know the conventional wisdom says do one body part then switch to the next, ie. Chest then tris, back then bi's, etc.
Has anyone ever mixed the two? I just switched up my workout and will now be doing bis and tris together. Was thinking of doing barbell curls then switching to close grip bench, tri dips then preachers, etc.
My thought was that since BB curls are my heaviest bi exercise I would do them first then since CG bench is my heaviest tri exercise I bang those out next. So I'm not spent after doing all bis and lose out on the heavy CG bench from having less energy towards the second half of the workout.
Good idea? Bad idea? What you guys think?
