    shoulders won't grow

Hi guys I'm currently on a bulk and just can't get my shoulders to grow. I had shoulder surgery on rotator cuff and Ac joint 2 years ago and since then nothing works heavy weights or low reps . Eating 3600 a day at 5.10 89 kg and 14% bf

You've probably spent a lot of time working around the injury and pain. Your body has done a good job in adapting. You're just going to have to start teaching the shoulders how to work and the CNS how to fire the nerves again. Basically teach the shoulder how to work again. Start with lighter weights and, to use some old school terms, feel the weight and muscle working. You can do it and it'll take some time but this is rather common with injuries and surgery. I may be totally off on this but give it a shot for a couple of months.

I like to take very short rest period if any while i'm doing shoulders i just rotate from exercise to exercise to exercise back to exercise 1 and usually in 20 minutes i cannot rest them in a position where they aren't aching...

You dont need to go Heavy. Especially not when on. Ive got a tip from Rich Piana for shoulders. And it really Works. The middle head is the one which makes up the impression. Gives you width. Well, most guy dont Train the middle head rigth. Front is doing the work. On you sidelaterals, dont crush the manuals together at the bottom, stop the motion maybe when Your hands are 20-30 cms from Your thighs. Doing this will stop the involment from the front head loading the important middle head.
Do 20 reps, feeel the burn and steroidpump. Its all about the burn and pump.
Back head is also very important, but remember to lean back when doing the motions, or else Your back will do the most of work. Look up Rich at youtube and his tips for shoulders. Best tips ive ever seen. Even better than Charles Glass tips.

    100% AGREE ON THIS.

I get so fed up and tired having to explain to all the idiots in my gym that at my size and build i dont count reps and sets i go by how my body feels, some weeks ill do 2 sets, others one, sometimes 6-10 sets on the one exercies. All depends, i always train as hard as i can and its doing me well.

When i see people counting there reps and sets and cant do anymore because its over 3 sets and cant do more than 10 reps etc i just shake my head and walk away. Exhaust the muscle and go by how you feel.
    All i can say.

Change the resistance curve. I prefer to workout shoulders on cable machine. I would also stop focusing on weight or sets and more so on form and intensity. You should also incorporate rotator cuff strengthening exercises for general shoulder health.
