    Question Training Plan Recommendations?

    Hey guys,

I'm training for the Arnold Pump & Run in 3 months. Currently benching bodyweight 17 times (225 lbs), looking to max out to the 30 rep cap. My 5K time really sucks as I don't run much anymore.

Any advice for training to improve my 5k run time while improving bodyweight bench reps? I'd like to do this with minimal muscle loss, but I'm planning to cut body fat and get to 215, which would also increase my bodyweight reps just by lowering weight lifted a tad.

Just started my first Tren A cycle a week ago at 75 EOD with deca at a therapeutic 150 weekly and testosterone at slightly more than maintenance of 200/week.

Weight training is Marcus's HIT and cardio was just 30-45 treadmill at 3mph and 10% incline with once weekly intense mountain biking sessions. Thinking I need a new cardio game plan to improve 5k as well as some minor chest sessions adaptations to improve bodyweight bench rep max.

Looking for some experienced advice here.

Gym trainer advised interval training of 1 min all out sprints followed by fast walking for 3 min and repeat for 30 min. Trying that now but unsure if I see the logic.

Interval running might be good but also steady runs should be incorporated.
To be fast you need to reduce weight, you dont see any runners with muscles hehehe

You need to stop the tren if you are going through with this, tren is reaaaaalllly bad for cardio and the increased body temperature will make it even worse. Its a waste of oil and health to use tren to prepare for 5 k run.

    Thanks for responding, Mr.BB.

The event is 12 weeks away. I started the Tren A cycle a week ago and it's only an 8 week cut cycle. It'll be over 5 weeks before the event. That being said, I am only doing 75 EOD of it. According to Atomini's thread on Tren (http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...ly-thread.html), that dosage shouldn't affect my cardio at all, if not minimally. And, regardless, the acetate version will be far long gone by race time, as it is 5 weeks post cycle.

The Tren will protect my muscle very well during this cut and while incorporating more cardio than I have been accustomed to.

Really expected more feedback here. No advice from the more experienced at this sort of training?
