    Left side upper body weaker

Hi fellas. My left side is weaker. Biceps and shoulders and triceps most notably. Should I be increasing reps or weight or both with DB. Appreciate your thoughts.

I am right side dominate btw.

    Thank you!

We all have a dominant side.

This is very noticeable when guys just start to workout, but with time and proper form, it is normal for both sides to even up.

Personnally dont advocate to train weaker side diferently, like I said it should even up if training is correct.

As BB said, we all have a dominant side!

Personally I have experienced this, and it caused there to be a physical size differences.

Is suggest including some barbell work if you're worried until the difference between them has narrowed.

I would not do any additional work for your weak side. This will lead to a back and forth imbalance loop.

Instead continue doing your routine as normal but STOP when your weak arm is done.

For things like biceps curls, lateral shoulder raises, etc I would do the weak side first, and match the weight and reps with your strong side, but do no more.

Eventually both arms will reach the same strength level.

I always start an exercise with my weaker side. Really has helped.
