Disproportionate Body: How to slim down muscular/fat thighs?
How can can I slim down my muscular thighs?? They look even worst bc for some odd reason I tend to store fat in the outer thigh section making it appear like I have hips :-/
And I'm a guy!!!! Plus my calves are small! So you get the mental pic...not nice.
Should I stop doing squats/leg workouts completely? or should I work them out only once a week and do high reps?
I'm doing a 4 day split workout routine where it requires me to do lower body/legs twice per week :-/...I'm trying to find another workout routine where it emphasizes more on upper body. Any suggestions of good workout routines? I'm trying to find one but there's so many out there that makes me so dizzy.
Thank You so much in advance
P.s: At this moment I'm eating maintenance cals. (Was Bulking for 3 months) I'm also doing cardio 3-4x/week for 20-30 mins.Last edited by brazilian10; 11-29-2015 at 03:41 PM.

Sound like a great candidate to start powerlifting haha. As for the program you could switch to full body doing low volume leg work (more calves) and upper body work 3-4x per week.

Just work on improving everything else to match.

I like Bonaparte's idea... I just cant imagine the idea of bringing a body part down. After all, it is called body BUILDING lol. I understand where you're coming from though. My thighs are huge and my calves were very small... But 750mg a week of test and some seriously intense calf training fixed that

If i have a body part that is more developed than the other i train it light until the rest catches up, a wouldnt just neglect it all together.

OP, could you post a pic of these problematic legs of yours? Many people have a distorted body image, and what they believe is a glaring problem may not be anything noticeable at all.
You can't lose fat from just one area, but if you lost weight in general, your thighs would come out looking leaner and more defined, rather than "fat".

Sorry for the confusion... thats what I would recommend- Maintain leg and do the best you can to build calves. I have had terrible calves my whole life and to be 100% honest with you the only way I was able to get them to grow was running a cycle. Im not saying that is true for everyone but in my case it was. Train them twice a week, seated and standing raises, heavy, high intensity (drop sets, rest pause, control negative and squeeze at the top)

Your legs are too skinny already, you can change the amount of muscle to a certain degree but you can change bone placement and muscle insertions.
If you look at Juju Salimeni legs, for example, they are sexy even though she has a ton of muscle.
Guys were caught a bit off guard with your pic hehe, dont mind them hehe, too much testosterone lol, ussually a pretty open minded crowd.
Are you taking hormones?

Look dude: if there's something going on here that we need to be aware of, please come out and say it (like that you're transgendered, taking female hormones, etc).
Also, post a pic that shows the entire front portion of your body wearing athletic shorts, and no funny business (dick tucking, lingerie, thongs, etc).
Otherwise, we will know that you're trolling us and no further help will be given.
We can't help you if you're building a transgendered/female body, yet claiming to want a masculine body (of your own).

But in the OP you said you were worried about not being masculine enough. If you're trolling us please let us know :\
If you are serious, then you already have a feminine, shapely body. If you are concerned about your proportions, you have nothing to worry about with your thighs being too large. Just keep doing squats and make sure you are consistent with your upper body workouts.

Hey,
Thanks for starting this discussion here. There are lots of ways you know. If you search via the internet within a moment you'll get a lot of things which will help/suggest you in this case. But not all of them are really good and help you better. But few of them are really good you can try https://www.healthyselfprograms.com/...scle-20142015/
Hope that help!

I never really got the answer here
I've been reading that endurance running/jogging reduces thigh size. Is that true?
I completely neglected doing squats and my bum is starting to sag a little
Any exercises that target the bum without making the legs bigger?

High reps made my legs grow fast. I wasted money on some good pants back in the day because I couldnt even wear them again. Low reps gives me better strength gains but almost no size gains. The only advice I can come up with is heavy low rep squats. They work the glutes and thighs and you will have the benefit of looking like you work out but will not add mass so quickly, so the rest of your body will grow at a faster pace to catch up
