I have been working out on a regular basis for years and no matter what my chest is always sore up to three days after i work it out. No other body parts get this way. Could anyone tell me why and how to stop it.

brotha ur suffering from DOMS (delayed onset muscle sorness), its normal. you just have experienced small tears in your muscle fibers.
studies have been done and insisted that these tears usually occur during the ecentric phase of the lift. this is just apart of lifting dont worry brotha, its nothing serious
ya nothin to worry about like Yung Wun said, try some sups for faster recovery
Sounds like overtraining. What's your routine?
I workout one bodypart a day with 7 days rest before training it again. My current chest workout is Bench Press or Dumbell Flyes, Incline Press or Incline Dumbells, Decline Press or weighted dips. I try to vary it. I do 3 sets of each until failure.Originally Posted by Leroy Brown

Try cutting it back to 1-2 sets per exercise and see if that helps. And stretch between sets.
I'm pretty sure he means supplements. Try some glutamine, its helped me a lot , I use it as often as I can afford it. It's basic function is to speed up your recovery and boost your immune system.Originally Posted by spikypiboy99
Do you put forth the same intensity with all other body parts?
im the same way. just all my bodyparts are like that. and im fine. if you're sore the next week then take a day off. it works for me.
you can try extra vitamin E and C....... those will help...... and maybe even take some glucosamine/chondroitin.....that is one supplement that will help connective tissue and the joints aswell..... (knees/elbows).Originally Posted by AndroholiK
