Continuing working out after sick, do you restart? or continue?

If you're on a routine that consists of a weekly schedule to do certain parts for example Saturday Chest, Sunday Back, Monday Shoulders, Tuesday Legs, Wednesday Arms, but during the schedule you get sick and cannot work out do you start over or continue where you left off?

For example, say on Wednesday is arms day but you suddenly got the stomach flu and you are able to regain strength and workout on Saturday but Saturday your schedule restarts with Chest Day, do you go off schedule and continue with arms or restart your schedule and do chest?

And what do you if you can't eat because of the stomach flu, how do you regain what you didn't eat for the 2 days?

I just continue from where I left off. I have a 4 day training cycle. I put it in the calendar to repeat every 4 days. However, I do not workout on Sundays. Whatever body part I miss on Sunday, I missed it. I don't go back and do it. I look at it as an addition day of rest for that body part every 4 days.

Guess it would depend on how stable/consistent your work schedule is? My schedule is constantly changing so I can't follow a schedule by what day of the week it is. If my schedule was nailed down, I would probably would do as Scotchguard posted, unless it were leg day. I don't allow myself to skip leg day, unless I'm injured.
Since my schedule is erratic, I just work my muscle groups in a specific rotation. That way I don't worry about what day it; just which muscle group is next.
